Ti6Al4V (GR5, TC4) powder is based on titanium and is optimized for performance by incorporating two core alloying elements, aluminium and vanadium. The specific composition is titanium (in excess), with the mass fraction of aluminium ranging from 5.5% to 6.75%, and the mass fraction of vanadium ranging from 3.5% to 4.5%. Aluminium, as an element stabilizing the α phase, enhances the alloy's strength, while vanadium, as an element stabilizing the β phase, improves processing properties. Together, these two elements enable the alloy to possess multiple advantages.
