Sodium borohydride,White crystalline powder. Density: 1.074. Decomposes at 400℃. It is hygroscopic. Stable in dry air but decomposes in wet air. It is soluble in water, liquid ammonia and amines, slightly soluble in tetrahydrofuran, insoluble in ether and benzene, and reacts with water to produce hydrogen.

Sodium borohydride,White crystalline powder or granules, with strong hygroscopicity, soluble in water and decomposes to release hydrogen gas. It decomposes relatively quickly under acidic conditions and is relatively stable under alkaline conditions.
