Application

1: Used to manufacture magnetic materials for microwaves and important materials for military industry, and is also used as optical glass. Yttrium oxide can increase the refractive index of special glass, reduce the dispersion index, and be used as high-brightness phosphors for large-screen televisions and coatings for other picture tubes.

2: Used for the preparation of new magnetic materials such as yttrium iron garnet and solid-state laser materials such as yttrium aluminum garnet, as well as TV phosphors, ultra-short afterglow phosphors, phosphors for X-ray induction screens and phosphors for fluorescent lamps.
