Molybdenum disulfide is a gray-black powder with a layered crystal structure. Its density is 4.8 g/cm³, the friction coefficient is as low as 0.05, the melting point is 1185℃, the heat resistance range is -270℃ to 650℃, it is insoluble in water, resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, and has excellent lubrication performance.
