Bismuth trioxide is prepared via dry or wet methods. The dry method (our company’s choice) oxidizes bismuth metal at high temperatures with air, yielding high-purity bismuth oxide without wastewater/waste. The wet method converts bismuth to bismuth nitrate, then to bismuth salts, followed by precipitation, washing, calcination, etc., to get bismuth oxide of varied purities.
