Bi(OH)3 thin films for electronic devices

Bismuth hydroxide (chemical formula Bi(OH)3 , molecular weight 260.00) is an inorganic compound, typically appearing as a white or slightly yellow powder. It belongs to the class of amphoteric hydroxides and is slightly alkaline. It is insoluble in water and ethanol, but easily soluble in acids. It can also dissolve in concentrated strong alkali solutions to form bismuthates.
