1. Defoamer - for concrete admixtures, paints, coatings, textiles, drilling fluids, and cutting oils.
2. Plasticizer - for PVC, cellulose acetate, adhesives, and synthetic resins.
3. Solvent - for resins, inks, lacquers, and coating formulations.
4. Extractant - in hydrometallurgy for separating rare metals (e.g., Zr, Hf, Ta, Nb, and REEs).
5. Flame retardant - as a flame retarding additive in plastics and rubber.
