1.Germanium monocrystals can be used as transistors and are the first-generation transistor materials.

 

2.Monocrystalline germanium finds significant applications in infrared optical components (such as thermal imagers and laser windows) and γ radiation detectors, covering military airborne/shipborne equipment, civilian security surveillance, and night driving assistance scenarios.

 

3.Germanium wafers made from germanium monocrystalline are used in the photovoltaic field for space solar cells, while germanium tetrachloride products for optical fibers serve optical communication modules. Compound semiconductor materials such as gallium arsenide wafers and indium phosphide wafers are used in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices.
