Application:
Used as raw material for making metal dysprosium, glass, Ndfeb permanent magnet additive, also used in metal halogen lamps, magneto-optical memory materials, yttrium iron or yttrium aluminum garnet, atomic energy industry as a nuclear reactor control rod. Dysprosium oxide can also be used as an additive for NdFeb permanent magnets.
