Electrolytic manganese is the elemental metal precipitated by acid leaching of manganese ore, usually the Mn content is 99.7%min. Appearance like iron, irregular flake, firm and crisp quality, one side bright, the other side rough, silver white to brown, silver gray after processing for powder; It is easily oxidized in air, dissolves and displaces hydrogen in the presence of dilute acid, and dissolves water and releases hydrogen at slightly higher room temperature.
